PhD in Geography, specialist in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM), and expert in international cooperation and sustainable development. Cherif has over 10 years of experience leading projects focused on climate change mitigation, climate justice, and community development in West Africa. He is the Coordinator of the Réseau des Îles de Basse Casamance, a network uniting 21 island and coastal communities in Senegal to promote sustainability and climate resilience. Additionally, he founded the Réseau des Communautés Auto-Financées du Sénégal, which fosters financial education and women’s economic empowerment. At TS, Cherif leads strategic projects in West Africa, empowering local communities and fostering international partnerships.
